Commentary	Zillmere is located approximately 20 kilometres north of the Brisbane CBD, and is home to a mix of young families and retirees Zillmere offers residents comparatively affordable housing with easy access to modern facilities and leisure activities. For this reason it is not uncommon for residents to look to upgrade their homes within the immediate area. Zillmere is broken down into about 40 per cent light to medium industrial and 60 per cent residential houses with a few townhouse developments mixed in. Families are well serviced by three schools in Zillmere and numerous others in the surrounding suburbs catering to both primary and secondary aged children. Public transport is also good with four train stations in the vicinity (Virginia, Boondall and Zillmere) and city express bus services running at regular intervals.
