Commentary The suburb of Parkinson is about 17km south of the Brisbane CBD and borders the neighbouring suburbs of Calamvale, Drewvale and Algester.

The suburb was established in the early 90s and has experienced strong population growth since about 2000. Parkinson was once semi-rural and rural land, but that has now made way for a number of delightful neighbourhoods and many prestigious streets.

The suburb offers a number of new homes and executive residences and is bordered by an extensive green belt.

There are a number of facilities available in the area such as schools, supermarkets and parks.
