Commentary Bordered by Chandler, Burbank, Mansfield and Rochedale, Mackenzie is approximately 20km from the Brisbane CBD and is characterised by its open spaces and acreage properties.

Predominantly undeveloped land, what has been developed is mostly single detached dwellings (houses), accommodating young and established families.

The vacant land remaining has been zoned residential, eliminating any large commercial developments. Gainsborough Park Estate is the next staged development for the area and prices vary largely depending on the size of acreage.

Mackenzie's wide open spaces feature family friendly facilities such as picnic and barbeque spots, walk ways and bike paths. It is also close to Mt Petrie Primary School, Mansfield High and Griffith University (approximately 10 min drive).

Although Mackenzie has no train line, bus transport is available and residents have excellent access to the Gateway Motorway.
